So, it's been 2 years now. So what is going on?
To make a long story short: We have been working on lots of projects with very high priority.
The good news is that before we started those projects Aero studio was almost ready for the 1.1 release. And it still is.
If everything proceeds according to our plans the next release will happen around christmas.
So what can we expect from Aero Studio 1.1?
- Aero Studio 1.1 is, behind the visible surface, actually a completely new application. The whole framework is
rebuilt into "modules" that execute independant of each other and in protected environments. For the end user this means that
Aero Studio will run like a dream on multi processor and multi core machines and that it should, in theory and as far as our
tests go, be immune to craches.
- A new driver model with ASIO support.
- Even better integration of the tracker and sequencer worlds.
- New and improved tools to analyze your signals (Machine frequency response tool and realtime 3d frequency plots).
- Fusion synth 3 with improved filters and new multi-oscillator modules (20 oscillators per voice!) with incredible quality.
- Linear phase equalizers.
- New Dynamics processors like the Aero Dynamics (A 3 bands compressor/Loudnes maximizer).
- An even better looking and screen space optimized interface.
